Came here with my family for a birthday celebration. It got pretty busy around 6 pm on a Saturday.
We got two appetizers to share and then individual mains.
Kind of crispy, but chewy inside. Not bad, but not that great either.
I know it’s chicken nanban so you’re supposed to put sweet and sour sauce on it, but it obviously became soggy despite being deep fried The chicken was fairly tender inside, but just slightly overcooked. Not a big complaint though.
The choice was hard but I ended up going with this for my main. The hashed beef stew was nice and flavourful and there were small pieces of beef inside it, which I wasn’t necessarily expecting.
The Hamburger steak was kind of like a meatloaf but it was very tender and I quite liked it. The fried prawn wasn’t as good — I think it was deep fried for too long and the breading was a bit on the harder side. Also, the rice was cold and a bit soft.
Wasn’t my dish, but I tried a bit and it wasn’t too bad! Well seasoned, pasta wasn’t too soft.
Overall, the food wasn’t too bad and the service was friendly. According to someone in my family though, one of the wait staff kept looking at us and asking other wait staff to ask if we were done, supposedly so we could leave and give up the table to the people waiting XD
